Edomey’s Construction Cleanup That Makes Openings Shine

The final days of a project are exciting—and a little hectic. Tools are leaving, inspections are happening, and everyone’s aiming for a smooth handover. Edomey’s construction cleanup turns that last stretch into a clean, confident reveal.

What we actually do on site

We start by getting rid of debris and chasing down dust in the places it loves to hide—on walls, windows, doors, floors, frames, fixtures, and built-ins. Common areas come together first so people can move safely and see progress. Glass gets polished, baseboards lose the drywall haze, and floors move from first pass to final polish. Carpets are groomed so they look new, not “just installed.” Outside, pressure washing refreshes entrances, sidewalks, and loading bays so the first look from the curb matches what’s inside. Where it’s part of the scope and access allows, we also help with exterior roof cleaning.

Because every build is different, we match the plan to the site. High ceilings get thoughtful high dusting. Spaces with sensitive equipment get microfiber systems and careful sequencing. Busy corridors get clear lanes and predictable wet-floor protocols. The goal is always the same: a space that looks finished and feels ready.

Keeping the schedule on track

Cleanup is one of the last trades to touch the site, so timing matters. We plan backward from your turnover date, coordinate around inspections and commissioning, and size the crew to the stage of the job. Communication is straightforward—quick checklists, photo updates, and fast decisions—so punch-list items don’t linger. If a late scuff appears when the sun hits “that one window,” we leave room to make it right before the keys change hands.

What happens after opening

Once people move in, the easiest way to protect the finish is to keep the team that already knows the space. Edomey can roll right into ongoing commercial janitorial: comprehensive office cleaning, day porter service for that daytime polish, daily and periodic programs, complete floor and carpet care, window cleaning, high dusting, washroom and grout care, interior and exterior pressure washing, litter pickup, and even disaster recovery. You keep the same expectations, the same reporting, and the same results.

How long it takes

Most projects move from first cleanup to the final “photo-ready” stage in roughly one to two weeks, depending on size and how many trades are still finishing up. We’ll confirm a realistic window once we see the site.
